ConfigHub Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ConfigHub (“App,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the App, and what choices you have. By using the App, you acknowledge this Policy.

We do not operate our own cloud servers to host your configuration file content. Remote read/write goes directly to servers you configure via SSH (except demo mode, which uses local sample data only).

If you enable “iCloud sync,” the following may be stored in Apple’s private CloudKit database (container: iCloud.com.aikejiao.ConfigFileEditor), subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy and iCloud terms:

You can turn off iCloud sync in the App or manage iCloud access in iOS Settings. Disabling sync stops new uploads; existing iCloud data must be managed or deleted through Apple’s tools.

The App is intended for adults managing remote servers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age. Contact us if you believe we have done so.

iCloud data may be processed by Apple outside your country. We use reasonable safeguards (encrypted storage APIs, SSH/TLS where applicable), but no method is 100% secure. Protect your device and credentials.

Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable to compensate you for any loss arising from use of the App, iCloud, SSH connections, or your own actions—including data loss, disclosure, corruption, or other harm. See our Terms of Use for full disclaimers and limitations.
